A month of social posts with no patient photos or stories

Cowork drafts a monthly content calendar for the practice's social accounts and newsletter: team introductions, office news, seasonal reminders and general health information from sources you choose, with no patient photos, testimonials or cases.

The problem

Practices know they should post regularly. What gets posted is either nothing for months or before-and-after photos and patient stories shared without the right written authorization. A steady calendar of safe, useful posts is easy to plan with help and hard to keep up alone.

Keep out of the AI

  • Patient photos, before-and-after images, testimonials or case stories
  • Anything that would let someone recognize a patient (a smile, a tattoo, a waiting room shot)
  • Patient email lists; use a marketing list people opted into, managed in your email tool

Every dental and medical idea here is designed so no protected health information (PHI) ever goes into Claude. Anthropic offers HIPAA only on Enterprise plans; Team plans can’t enable it. Under the HIPAA configuration, Cowork runs in local mode on a desktop and Cowork in the cloud (including cloud scheduled tasks) isn’t available. Anthropic’s documentation says connectors and MCP servers aren’t covered by its BAA. Nothing here makes a practice HIPAA compliant; ask your privacy officer before you start.

What Cowork does

  1. The practice lists what it's happy to post about: team members who agreed to be featured, community events, office updates, services, and the public health sources it trusts (for example the ADA, CDC or AAFP pages saved in Drive).
  2. Once a month Cowork drafts a calendar of 8 to 12 posts with captions and photo ideas that use only staff, the office or stock images.
  3. Each general health post cites the saved source and avoids individual advice.
  4. It drafts one short email newsletter version for the practice's marketing list, if it has one.

Where the draft lands

A content calendar and caption drafts in a Google Sheet.

What stays with you

Approving posts, taking photos of consenting staff, and publishing. Any patient content needs written authorization handled by the practice, outside Claude.

November:
Wk 1 Meet the team: Maria, our office manager (Maria approved the photo).
Wk 2 Seasonal: Halloween candy and your teeth, general tips (source: saved ADA page).
Wk 3 Office news: new Saturday hours.
Wk 4 Community: staff food-drive photo at the clinic (staff only, no patients).
No patient photos, testimonials or cases.

Watch-outs

  • HIPAA note: patient images and testimonials need written authorization, and that process belongs to the practice, not to Claude. This calendar is built so it never needs them.
  • Health claims in ads and posts are regulated. Keep posts general and cite the source.
  • Posting to Facebook or Instagram isn't possible through an official connector we've verified. Post from your scheduler.

Questions owners ask

Can it write about our services?

Yes, in general terms: what the service is and who to call. No promises of results.

What about Google Business Profile posts?

Drafts work the same way. Post them yourself; there's no official connector.

Connector capabilities checked October 2026 against Anthropic and vendor documentation; they change, so confirm before you buy anything. Workahead is independent and not affiliated with Anthropic.
