The problem
Customers pay faster and complain less when they can see what they paid for. Techs take photos; they rarely get to the customer because assembling them into something readable takes time.
What Cowork does
- A daily task reads jobs completed yesterday in Jobber.
- It finds the job's photos in a Drive folder, or in CompanyCam through Composio's toolkit, if available.
- It writes a plain summary: what was found, what was done, and anything to watch.
- It saves a one-page doc and drafts an email to the customer for the office to send with the invoice.
Where the draft lands
A closeout doc and a Gmail draft.
What stays with you
Choosing photos, checking the summary and sending.
What we found: corroded shutoff valves under the kitchen sink and a slow drip at the faucet base.
What we did: replaced both shutoffs and the faucet, tested for leaks.
Watch: the drain line is original; worth a look at your next visit.
Photos: before (2), after (2).
Watch-outs
- Composio's CompanyCam toolkit hasn't been reviewed in detail. Check what it can read before selling this.
- Get the customer's OK before using their photos in marketing.
Questions owners ask
Do I need CompanyCam?
No. A shared Drive folder per job works.
Can it post the photos online?
Turning closeouts into public project posts is a separate idea and needs customer permission.
