The problem
Customers are happiest right after the work is done, and that's when nobody remembers to ask for a review. A generic automated request gets ignored; a personal note from the owner gets answered more often, but it takes time to write.
What Cowork does
- A daily task at 8 AM reads jobs completed yesterday in Jobber.
- It skips jobs with complaints, callbacks, or unpaid invoices, and anyone asked in the last year.
- It writes a two- or three-sentence Gmail draft that names the tech and the job and includes your Google review link.
- It logs who was asked so nobody gets asked twice.
Where the draft lands
Gmail drafts and a request log in Sheets.
What stays with you
Sending, and deciding who not to ask.
Hi Dana, thanks for having Lee out yesterday to sort out the kitchen outlets. If you were happy with the work, a short Google review would mean a lot to a small shop like ours: [review link]. And if anything isn't right, reply here and we'll fix it. Sam
Watch-outs
- Don't offer anything in exchange for reviews and don't ask only happy customers in a way that filters out negative ones. Google's policies prohibit review gating.
- Google Business Profile has no official Claude connector. This idea only needs your review link, not the API.
Questions owners ask
How many reviews will this get me?
It depends on your customers. Use the review calculator to see how many you'd need to move your rating, then track what you actually get.
Should it text instead of email?
Texts often get better response. Use your FSM's built-in texting or send from the phone app; Claude-sent texts need approval each time.
