The problem
Replying to reviews shows future customers that someone is paying attention, and it's easy to fall months behind. Negative reviews are worse: owners either reply angrily the same night or never reply at all.
What Cowork does
- A daily task reads new reviews. Google Business Profile has no official Claude connector, so this uses Zapier or a vetted third-party connector, if available.
- For four- and five-star reviews it drafts a short, specific thank-you.
- For one- to three-star reviews it drafts a calm reply that acknowledges the issue and invites the customer to call, and it emails the owner the job history for that customer from Jobber.
- Replies are saved as drafts in a sheet or email for the owner to post.
Where the draft lands
Reply drafts in an email or sheet. Posting happens in Google Business Profile.
What stays with you
Approving every public reply and handling unhappy customers personally.
5 stars, "Luis was fast and explained everything": Thank you, Megan. Luis will be glad to hear it. Call us anytime.
2 stars, "Showed up late": Hi Greg, sorry we were late, that's on us. I'd like to hear what happened. Please call me at the shop. Ana (job history for Greg sent to Ana by email)
Watch-outs
- Never post replies automatically. Public replies always need the owner's approval.
- Don't confirm someone was a customer in a reply if your industry has privacy rules (law, insurance).
Questions owners ask
Why can't Claude connect to Google reviews directly?
There's no official connector, and Google gates its Business Profile API behind an application.
Can it reply to Yelp or Angi?
Only if there's a connector or Zapier integration for them. Check before you count on it.
